Invasive Species Profiles

As a non-profit organization, the New Brunswick Invasive Species Council acts as an educational resource for our province. While NBISC does not conduct physical species removals or field eradication, our goal is to equip residents, watershed groups, and outdoor enthusiasts with the knowledge to identify priority invasive threats and reduce risk of their spread.

Explore profiles of invasive species that are currently present in New Brunswick, as well as emerging threats that could arrive in the province.

This is not a complete list, and additional species profiles will be added as new information becomes available.

See it? Report it!

As a non-profit organization, we do not physically remove established invasive species. Rapid reporting does allows us to focus on prevention, community education, and strengthening tracking networks.
