Help Protect New Brunswick from Invasive Species
Volunteers play an important role in preventing the introduction and spread of invasive species across New Brunswick.
Whether you enjoy working outdoors, talking with the public, or sharing professional skills, there are many ways to support our work. Opportunities vary throughout the year and depend on project needs, funding, and staff capacity.
Stewardship & Field Activities
Assist with demonstration invasive plant removals, Plant Paddle events, monitoring activities, and other stewardship projects alongside NBISC staff and partners.
Community Outreach & Events
Help represent NBISC at community events, trade shows, festivals, farmers' markets, and educational activities by engaging with the public and sharing invasive species prevention information.
Education & Awareness
Support educational initiatives through photography, social media, communications, research, writing, or helping develop outreach materials and resources.
Share Your Skills
Have a skill or expertise you'd like to contribute?
We welcome volunteers with backgrounds in environmental science, education, communications, event planning, photography, marketing, GIS, and other areas that support our mission.
